New Software Enhances Customer Service While Increasing Efficiencies
GREENVILLE, SC: Associated Systems, Inc. (ASI), a leading software provider to the utility industry, has developed EasiOrder, a new software system that simplifies common service issues while enhancing customer service. EasiORder operates over a wireless mobile phone network, providing up-to-the-minute text data to connect utility field workers with their customer service departments.
Issues such as reconnections, service interruption, the status of a job or location of field workers are easily answered by using EasiOrder. The system works by transferring text information to all the designated mobile phones in the utility’s network, allowing everyone in the network access to accurate and current information.
"In the past, our utility customer service departments spent hours each day trying to manage the status of a job, a service connection and responding to customer’s inquiries about their service," said Rusty Pryor, ASI President. EasiOrder was also designed with safety in mind. In the past, utility field personnel had to try to quickly pull off the road to answer calls from their customer service departments. With ASI’s new software, text data takes the place of calls and as jobs are completed, they are updated in the system.
