Give Customers Access to Information 24/7


ASI offers an easy way to improve customer communications, allowing customers to access their account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This solution, called iMessaging, allows a customer to simply press keys on the telephone to retrieve information that is specific to his or her personal utility billing account.

Customer Billing System

The feature is password protected, so only the customer has access to the information. In addition, the customer may customize the information to best suit his or her needs, and opt out at any time. 

Callers simply press keys on their telephone to retrieve information that is specific to their utility billing accounts. The system then “speaks” the desired information back to the caller automatically. This allows the customer access to information at any time, without any staffing required. In addition, it allows customer service staff to concentrate on “business-critical” issues rather than routine, repetitive inquiries.

Customers can gain information such as:

  • Account balance
  • Last payment received
  • Balance of last bill
  • Bill due date
  • Current penalty amount and date
  • Scheduled cut-off date

In addition, the utility company may use this feature for outbound calls to leave messages to its customers. Examples could include:

  • Payment reminders
  • Cut off notices
  • Information about outages
  • Safety messages
  • Service interruption
